Nader visits Houston to boost voter registration

The visit was one part of Nader's present effort to launch a statewide voter education and registration project. Nader has a long history of outspokenness in politics and has been a pioneer in public interest law, p a r t i c u l a r l y c o n s u m e r advocacy. The public interest and consumer advocacy groups that he has founded include the Center for Responsive Law, the Center for Auto Safety, the Project for Corporate Responsibilities, and the Public Interest Research Group, also known as PIRG.
